Adding to the Church Daily

~Today was a day of celebration, we baptized Patricia in Jesus Name! Not only are we thankful for this miracle but last Sunday we baptized Edith, after she had received the Holy Ghost in service. The Lord is adding to the church & we are so thankful! God has been proving himself faithful to the church's prayers. We do not have a baptismal tank as of yet, so we are using a swimming pool:) If we know in enough time there is going to be a baptism then the pool will be heated...if not, well it's cold:) I guess using a swimming pool is the modern version of back in the day going down to the river to be baptized. I just had to share some of the excitement of what God is doing in Vacaville!

Thank God! It is such a joy and wonderful feeling when we are praying people through!! It overshadows all of the "other stuff." I'm so happy for you guys!

~Susan, thank you. That is so true. It makes your troubles seem so small when you see someone giving themselves to God & you get to be apart of it.

Awesome!!! So excited for you.

P.S. I do like Cece Winan's version of "Comforter." I had never heard her sing it. She's one of my favorite voices. I put the song on my CD but got if from Randy Phillips (the author) many years ago.

How exciting. It's good to know that it is God who graciously draws us to Himself, regardless of our faults and weaknesses.
